This is in my toolkit for whenever I need to do anything with SVG files. For just converting them, I use GIMP.
It is meant for image creation and not editing. I’ve used this for several projects, like my Chinese flash cards.

I use this:
.svg files to .jpg or .png.png files which have transparency, since mspaint.exe can’t do that.Often called “The Gimp”.

It’s simplicity is overdone to the point of losing functionality. Some of its preferences are so wrong that I can’t use it, and because it’s inflexible I can’t fix their mistakes.
